We are seeking a highly organised, motivated, and technically skilled Systems Administrator to join our growing team at CCNASA. This role is responsible for maintaining and supporting the organisation’s IT infrastructure, systems, networks, and security to ensure efficient and reliable business operations across our healthcare staffing and administrative services.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting daily operations by ensuring system performance, troubleshooting technical issues, maintaining cybersecurity standards, and implementing technology solutions that support our workforce, healthcare professionals, and clients across South Australia.

Task & responsibilities

  • Installing, configuring, maintaining, and administering servers, operating systems, business applications, and network infrastructure.
  • Monitoring system performance, network availability, and data security to ensure reliable and uninterrupted operations.
  • Managing user accounts, permissions, email systems, cloud services, and access controls across the organization.
  • Providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to staff regarding hardware, software, systems, and connectivity issues.
  • Implementing and maintaining cybersecurity measures including antivirus systems, firewalls, backups, and disaster recovery procedures.
  • Performing regular system upgrades, software updates, patches, and maintenance activities.
  • Supporting database management, data integrity, and secure storage of organizational information.
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of IT policies, procedures, and documentation.
  • Liaising with external IT vendors, software providers, and service partners when required.
  • Maintaining IT asset registers, system documentation, and operational records.
  • Supporting office technology systems including printers, telecommunication systems, mobile devices, and remote access platforms.
  • Assisting management in identifying and implementing technology improvements to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.
  • Ensuring systems comply with organizational standards, privacy obligations, and healthcare industry requirements.

Qualification & experience

  • Bachelor degree or higher qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Administration, Systems Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of full-time relevant work experience (or equivalent part-time/casual experience) in systems administration, IT support, or network administration.
  • Demonstrated experience managing Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, cloud-based platforms, and business IT systems.
  • Knowledge of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, routers, switches, and wireless technologies.
  • Experience with system security, backup procedures, and troubleshooting hardware/software issues.
  • Strong problem-solving, organisational, and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to support staff across different departments.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced healthcare environment.
  • Understanding of privacy, confidentiality, and data security requirements within healthcare or staffing industries will be highly regarded.
