You will be responsible for delivering turnkey solutions to customers. You will work as part of a team and be accountable for the success of solutions that you stage and test.

With this hands-on role your will require you to manage your time and report back toproject management team on progress of your part in a project/ roll out.

In addition to technical knowledge this role requires a high level of compliance in processes, procedures and management of documentation (checklists). All task sassigned are to be carried out with due diligence and adhering to timelines and orreporting any roadblocks or if timelines cannot be met.

Task & responsibilities

The job taks include, but not limit to:

  • Build, assemble, and configure media players (MPs) and associated hardware components for deployment.
  • Perform detailed testing and configuration of digital displays and related equipment.
  • Stage, prepare, and organise all hardware required for each project to ensure smooth onsite installation.
  • Install and integrate kiosk peripherals and other physical components as required.
  • Label all hardware and components to support efficient onsite installation by field technicians.
  • Prepare clear, hardware‑focused installation guides for new or unique equipment setups.
  • Create project checklists and ensure all staging documentation is completed and stored appropriately.
  • Capture and store staging photos for hardware records and traceability.
  • Conduct full diagnosis and troubleshooting of hardware faults, including component‑level testing.
  • Test and validate new hardware models to assess performance, compatibility, and suitability for future projects.
  • Perform structured testing of returned hardware (RMA) to confirm faults and determine repair or replacement requirements.
  • Follow established RA processes and maintain compliance with hardware return and warranty procedures.
  • Ensure RMA testing is completed promptly, maintaining fewer than 15 untested media players at any time.
  • Maintain accurate and accessible hardware testing records for audit and reference.
  • Document hardware test results and provide summaries to relevant internal teams when required.
  • Ensure all hardware staging, testing, and diagnostic activities meet organisational quality standards.
  • Provide onsite and remote technical support for hardware‑related issues.
  • Assist with diagnosing and resolving hardware performance issues in operational environments.
  • Support field technicians by ensuring all hardware is pre‑tested, labelled, and deployment‑ready.


Qualification & experience

  • Diploma in IT or higher
  • At least 1 year of relevant work experience
  • Technical product knowledge including TVs / Computers / Video Audio / Digital Signage / Touch Screen Kiosks / IT or equivalent industry an advantage.
  • Demonstrated success managing multiple projects
  • Proven ability to be hands on within a heavy workload environment=
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build positive and productive relationships with your team and other stakeholders. 
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask. 
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
