Software Engineer

We are lookingfor a highly experienced software engineer with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in building and managing applications using Strapi .io, and a strong background in AWS broadcast video encoding and cloud security. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in developing, deploying, and securing our video streaming services and content management systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Strapi. io

• Implement AWS broadcast video encoding services, ensuring high-quality video delivery.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

• Develop and enforce cloud security best practices to protect our infrastructure and data.

• Optimize performance and scalability of applications on AWS.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing systems and applications. 

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all deployed solutions

Qualification & experience

Experience: 

Minimum of 5 years in software development, with specific experience in:

• Stapi. io (Content Management System) and AWS Cloud Architecture.

•AWS broadcast video encoding (e.g., AWS Elemental Media Services)

• Cloud security (e.g., IAM, VPC, security groups, encryption)

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js

• Experience with RESTful APIs and GraphQL

• Strong understanding of AWS services, including S3, Lambda, EC2, and CloudFront

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab)

• Familiarity with containerisation (e.g., Docker) and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes)

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have:

• Experience with live streaming and real-time video processing

• Familiarity with other CMS / DAM / MAM systems in market

 • AWS Certified Solutions Architect or similar certification

Education: 

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
