Byzantine Investments Pty Ltd, T/A Crash Claim is looking for FULL TIME, IT Systems Support & Test Engineer for our Homebush office location.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
ICT Systems Support
- Provide first- and second-level technical support to internal users across hardware, software, and network environments
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
- Monitor and maintain IT systems to ensure optimal performance, availability, and security
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues within agreed service levels
- Administer user accounts, permissions, and access controls in line with company policies
- Perform system updates, patching, backups, and disaster recovery support
- Support cloud services (e.g., Microsoft 365) and internal business systems
- Maintain accurate IT documentation, asset registers, and support logs
- Coordinate with third-party vendors and managed service providers
Software Testing & Quality Assurance
- Design, develop, and execute test cases and test plans for internal applications and system upgrades
- Conduct functional, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Identify, record, and track defects using appropriate tools
- Work closely with developers and stakeholders to validate system requirements
- Verify bug fixes, enhancements, and releases prior to deployment
- Ensure applications meet performance, usability, and security standards
- Assist in implementing automated testing where applicable
General Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with company IT policies, cybersecurity standards, and Australian data protection expectations
- Provide training and support to staff on IT systems and best practices
- Contribute to IT projects, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity of sensitive company and client data
Skills and Qualifications
- Relevant qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience in ICT support and/or software testing
- Strong knowledge of Windows environments and standard business applications
- Understanding of networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN, routers, switches)
- Experience with testing methodologies and defect tracking tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Desirable
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft 365 or Azure
- Exposure to automation testing tools
- Experience handling teams queries in large organizations like us
- Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and best practices
- Eligible to work minimum 38 hours so full time work availability
- Strong knowledge of ICT support and system operations protocols
- Familiarity with ICT monitoring tools and automation scripting
- Experience with CRM or claims management systems
Salary & Benefits
- Salary range: AUD $80,000 – $85,000 per annum + superannuation, depending on experience
- Employer superannuation contributions in accordance with Australian legislation (currently 11% or as amended)
- Annual leave, personal leave, and other entitlements as per the Fair Work Act 2009 and National Employment Standards (NES)
