About the Role:

We at YLY Solutions PTY LTD are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented ICT Support and Test Engineer to join our growing team. The role involves analysing, testing, and improving ICT systems, supporting end-users, and ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and quality of software and network systems. You will collaborate closely with developers, project managers, and technical teams to deliver high-performing ICT solutions tailored to business needs.

Task & responsibilities

  • Conduct system and quality audits to review performance, reliability, and compliance with standards.
  • Analyse systems, data, and documentation to identify risks, variations, or areas for improvement.
  • Monitor and maintain existing IT systems and infrastructure to ensure reliable and efficient operations.
  • Recommend corrective actions and process improvements to maintain system efficiency and compliance.
  • Assist end users with hardware and software issues, including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
  • Provide user support, technical guidance, and training on ICT applications and operational procedures both onsite and remotely
  • Perform system setup reviews and recommend upgrades or strategies for future improvements.
  • Liaise with users and management to ensure awareness of ICT standards, policies, and procedure to maintain and implement cybersecurity.
  • Document IT systems, procedures, and support processes, ensuring accurate and accessible technical records. 

Qualification & experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent).
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in ICT support, testing, or system analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of troubleshooting, testing, and quality assurance methods.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Exhibits strong customer service abilities and can effectively interact with individuals across all organisational levels
  • Critical thinking when investigating appropriate solutions to suit business problems
