For our ongoing projects in regional Australia, we are seeking a qualified Telecommunications Network Planner to perform following duties;

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

Develop comprehensive telecommunications network architectures tailored to specific business and customer requirements
Conduct thorough analysis of existing network infrastructures and provide strategic upgrade recommendations for enhanced performance
Create detailed network designs, comprehensive technical specifications, and accurate cost projections for upcoming projects
Coordinate effectively with clients, engineering teams, and contractors to ensure seamless project delivery and implementation
Assess network equipment and software solutions for optimal compatibility, performance, and cost-effectiveness within existing systems
Plan optimal fiber paths considering distance, terrain, right-of-way, and cost
Perform comprehensive feasibility studies evaluating environmental, technical, and financial factors before project implementation begins
Design wireless coverage areas to minimise dead zones and ensure signal quality
Responsible for installation processes, equipment configuration, and seamless integration of new network infrastructure components throughout facilities
Use planning tools to simulate performance, interference, and load scenarios
Continuously monitor network performance metrics and implement troubleshooting solutions to maintain optimal operational efficiency
Identify areas needing upgrades, repairs or reconfiguration to improve performance
Use software and hardware’s to connect network & telecommunication technology with desktops, phones, laptops and other operating devices.
Identify potential risks (capacity overload, equipment failure, environmental issues) and design redundancy solutions
Design backup paths and failover systems to enhance reliability
Provide technical guidance during implementation and post-deployment evaluation.
Ensure strict adherence to telecommunications regulations, safety protocols, and industry compliance standards throughout all projects
Maintain comprehensive documentation and detailed records of network designs, configurations, modifications, and performance metrics

Education & Qualifications

Advanced Diploma or Diploma in the related field
Alternatively, three years of relevant full-time experience may substitute for formal qualifications

Experience: A minimum of one year of full-time relevant experience

Remuneration: The full time position offers an annual salary of $80,000 plus superannuation
