You will lead daily operations, drive sales growth, manage stock and financial performance, and ensure outstanding customer service.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Plan and manage product range, stock levels, and service standards to maximise sales and profitability</li><li>Develop and implement purchasing and marketing strategies, including pricing decisions</li><li>Drive promotional and advertising initiatives to increase store visibility and revenue</li><li>Lead from the front in selling products and advising customers on product features and use</li><li>Monitor inventory records and oversee financial transactions and reporting</li><li>Prepare and manage store budgets to achieve financial targets</li><li>Recruit, train, and supervise staff to build a high-performing retail team</li><li>Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations</li></ul>&nbsp;About You<ul><li>Proven experience in retail management (appliances or furniture experience highly regarded)</li><li>Strong leadership and team development skills</li><li>Excellent sales, negotiation, and customer service abilities</li><li>Sound financial and budgeting knowledge</li><li>Ability to work independently and drive business growth</li><li>Strong understanding of workplace health and safety standards</li></ul>What We Offer<ul><li>Competitive annual salary 70,000 - 85,000 per annum</li><li>Leadership role within a respected Australian retail network</li><li>Support from a national buying group</li><li>Opportunity to make a real impact in a regional community</li></ul>

This excellent opportunity will be offered on a Permanent Full-Time basis at 38 hours a week. <h3>Benefits</h3><ul><li>Professional growth</li><li>A friendly team environment with a great community care spirit</li></ul> <h3>Task & responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Monitoring sales performance and stock levels, while analysing trade, manufacturer, and market information to remain informed of evolving market conditions.</li><li>Negotiating purchasing, promotional, and supply arrangements with suppliers.</li><li>Developing and implementing pricing, marketing, promotional, and merchandise display strategies.&nbsp;</li><li>Liaising with management regarding long-term business planning and sales promotional activities.&nbsp;</li><li>Developing operational and purchasing plans in accordance with seasonal demand and budgetary requirements.</li><li>Forecasting consumer trends and determining the appropriate quantity, style, and quality of merchandise for purchase.</li><li>Selecting and purchasing merchandise for resale within a retail establishment.</li></ul> <h3>Qualification & experience</h3><ul><li>Excellent English skills</li><li>The right to work in Australia</li><li>AQF Certificate III or higher qualifications in relevant field</li><li>Minimum of one years of work experience in the occupation or related field</li><li>Team management skills</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Attention to detail</li><li>Strong organisational and time management skills.</li><li>Familiar with industry best practices</li><li>Proficiency in all aspects of food safety</li><li>Positive communication skills, energy and attitude</li></ul>
