Support daily routines, learning and recreational activities while maintaining a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment for children throughout the regional communities we service.&nbsp;&nbsp; <h3>Benefits</h3><h3>Benefits of Working with GFSA</h3><ul><li>Join a welcoming and supportive community-based team.</li><li>Make a meaningful difference to children and families in regional communities.</li><li>Enjoy a varied role across centre-based and mobile childcare programs.</li><li>Work in a friendly, inclusive and nurturing environment.</li><li>Access opportunities for professional development and career growth.</li><li>Experience the relaxed lifestyle and strong community spirit of regional Western Australia.</li></ul> <h3>Task & responsibilities</h3>Key Responsibilities<ul style="list-style-type:disc;"><li>Provide attentive care and active supervision for children participating in the Association’s centre-based and mobile occasional-care programs.&nbsp;</li><li>Assist with preparing age-appropriate materials and equipment for children’s educational, play-based and recreational activities.&nbsp;</li><li>Prepare and conduct indoor and outdoor activities that support children’s physical, emotional, social and cognitive development.&nbsp;</li><li>Supervise children’s daily routines, including meals, rest periods, toileting, personal hygiene and transitions between activities.&nbsp;</li><li>Use positive behaviour-guidance strategies to support children’s social development, confidence and interactions with others.&nbsp;</li><li>Develop and implement a high quality education and care curriculum for all enrolled children that is consistent with: * The service philosophy and policies, * The National Quality Standards, * Educations and Care Services National Law, * Education and Care Services National Regulations, * Early Years Learning Framework&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Observe children’s wellbeing, development and participation, and maintain accurate records in accordance with service procedures.&nbsp;</li><li>Establish respectful relationships with children and communicate appropriately with parents, carers, educators and other team members.&nbsp;</li><li>Maintain clean, safe and well-organised learning environments, including setting up and packing away equipment at centre and mobile-service locations.&nbsp;</li><li>Support the inclusion of children from diverse cultural backgrounds and children with additional needs.&nbsp;</li><li>Follow child-safety requirements, supervision ratios, hygiene procedures, workplace health and safety requirements and the Association’s policies.&nbsp;</li><li>Work with the team within the Service to develop, deliver and monitor quality curriculum consistent with the requirements of the National Quality Framework.&nbsp;</li><li>Assist with mobile service delivery across regional communities, including Gnowangerup, Borden, Ongerup, Nyabing and Newdegate, where required.</li></ul> <h3>Qualification & experience</h3>Essential<ul style="list-style-type:disc;"><li>QF Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care with at least two years of leadership position, or an AQF Certificate IV or higher relevant qualification.</li><li>Relevant experience providing care and supervision to children in a childcare setting.&nbsp;</li><li>Current Working with Children Check and approved First Aid, CPR, asthma and anaphylaxis training, or ability to obtain.&nbsp;</li><li>Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel to mobile childcare locations when required.</li></ul>&nbsp;
