Human Resource Advisor

Key duties: 

• Administer end to end recruitment processes, including workforce planning, job requisition approvals, candidate assessment, and selection in alignment with organisational workforce strategy
• Maintain and audit HR information systems (HRIS) and employee records to ensure data integrity, compliance, and accurate reporting
• Provide technical advice to management on employment legislation, modern awards (including retail awards), enterprise agreements, and internal HR policies
• Manage employee relations matters by applying procedural fairness in performance management, disciplinary actions, and grievance resolution
• Design and deliver structured onboarding programs to ensure effective integration of new employees and alignment with organisational standards
• Analyse workforce data and provide insights to support decision-making in areas such as turnover, absenteeism, and labour cost management
• Coordinate role evaluations, remuneration benchmarking, and contract preparation in line with market conditions and internal frameworks
• Support negotiations relating to employment conditions and assist in enterprise bargaining or workplace consultation processes where required
• Interpret and implement statutory requirements, including Fair Work compliance, workplace health and safety obligations, and employment standards
• Develop, review, and implement HR policies, procedures, and frameworks to ensure operational consistency and risk mitigation
• Facilitate employee engagement initiatives and structured consultation mechanisms to improve organisational performance and workforce participation
• Liaise with internal stakeholders across retail operations, corporate functions, and supply chain teams to align HR service delivery with business objectives

Skill required:

• Proven experience as HR Advisor (as least 1 year of prior experience)
• Relevent qualifications in HR- minimum bachelor or master degree or 5 years of work experience in lieu of formal qualifications
• Exellent communication and management skills
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
