You will welcome and guide guests through their dining experience, greeting and seating them with confidence while taking orders and introducing dishes and daily features with a modern, hospitality‑driven approach. You’ll help deliver a seamless service by coordinating with the kitchen, maintaining refined table settings, and upholding the steakhouse’s standards of quality, efficiency, and contemporary dining culture.

Task & responsibilities

 

  • Welcome guests with a polished, friendly approach and guide them to their tables, setting the tone for a sleek, modern steakhouse experience.
  • Present menus and confidently explain signature cuts, cooking methods, sides, and enhancements, offering personalised recommendations that suit each guest’s taste.
  • Take precise food and beverage orders, ensuring steak temperatures, preferences, and dietary requirements are communicated clearly to the kitchen.
  • Deliver meals and drinks with smooth timing, refined presentation, and a focus on creating a memorable, high‑quality dining experience.
  • Highlight daily features, premium cuts, chef‑selected pairings, and curated beverage options to elevate the guest experience and support sales.
  • Set tables with modern steakhouse standards, including premium steak knives, polished glassware, and neatly arranged condiments.
  • Maintain a clean, organised dining room and reset tables efficiently to uphold a fresh, contemporary atmosphere.
  • Work seamlessly with kitchen and bar teams to ensure a steady service flow and timely delivery of dishes.
  • Process payments accurately using the POS system and provide clear receipts or change.
  • Address guest questions or concerns with professionalism, confidence, and genuine hospitality.
  • Assist with opening and closing routines, including preparing the dining room, polishing glassware and cutlery, and restocking service stations.

Qualification & experience

At least 12 months prior experience as a Waiter
