Restaurant Manager

Fiorini's Osteria Italiana is an established Italian restaurant located in the renowned wine region of Orange, NSW. Since 2007, Fiorini's has been delivering authentic Italian cuisine, handmade pasta, seasonal local produce and exceptional hospitality in a warm and welcoming environment.

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager to join our team on a full-time basis.

Task & responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant.
• Ensure a high standard of customer service and guest satisfaction.
• Manage reservations, customer enquiries and special events.
• Recruit, train and supervise front-of-house staff.
• Develop staff rosters and monitor labour costs.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate purchasing requirements.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, workplace health and safety, and liquor licensing regulations.
• Work closely with kitchen staff to maintain service standards and operational efficiency.
• Assist in implementing marketing initiatives and local promotional activities.
• Manage cash handling procedures, POS systems and end-of-day reconciliations.
• Resolve customer complaints and operational issues in a professional manner.

Qualification & experience

• · Diploma of Hospitality Management or related qualification; alternatively, at least two years of relevant full-time experience as a Restaurant Manager may substitute for formal qualifications.
• · Strong leadership and team management skills.
• · Demonstrated experience in restaurant operations.
• · Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• · Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• · Sound understanding of hospitality compliance requirements.
• · Experience with staff rostering, inventory control and budgeting will be highly regarded.
