The Clovercrest Hotel commonly known as “The Clovey” has been an icon of the North-East over several decades, situated in the heart of Modbury North the hotel services a significant cross section of the local community. 

Over recent years the venue has undergone significant renovations to include a new lounge, dining and al fresco space, an area that provides for meals, casual gatherings as well as special events. The venue also has a modern function area, 40 machine Gaming Room and a vibrant Front Bar with a spacious beer garden. 

We are proud to share we were the Winner of the 2023 Best Redevelopment Metro.

We are looking for talented hospitality people to grow the business with us, the roles are vast and hands on, from a couple of shifts per week to five, ideal for students wanting to support their studies, to adults wanting some casual work to professionals. We are a family business which is becoming rare in this industry, providing our valued customers an experience that keeps bringing them back!

To be successful you must have:

  • Exceptional cash handling skills;

  • A wonderful hospitality smile goes a long way.

  • Outstanding customer service skills.

  • Demonstrate a sound knowledge of wines, beers, spirits and cocktails.

  • Excellent attention to detail.

  • RSA certificate is required to serve alcohol of course;

  • RSG certificates;

  • The ability to develop and maintain working relationships with our stakeholders;

  • Manage a team to provide a high level of professional customer service;

  • Immaculate presentation and reliability;

  • Flexible to work over a 7 days roster;

Minimum hours per week are flexible
