Cafe or Restaurant Manager (Full-time)

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and review restaurant and banquet menus in consultation with the Chefs, ensuring the food offerings suit dine-in service, catering packages and special event requirements.
• Plan, coordinate and organise special functions, including weddings, engagements, birthdays, corporate events, private parties and banquet bookings held at 3 Elements Restaurant and Banquet.
• Arrange the purchasing of food, beverages, restaurant supplies and function-related goods, and monitor pricing to ensure purchases remain within the approved business budget.
• Maintain records of stock levels, supplier orders, invoices, daily sales, customer payments and other financial transactions relating to restaurant, banquet and catering operations.
• Ensure the dining area, banquet hall, kitchen service areas and customer facilities comply with health and safety regulations and are clean, organised, functional and professionally presented.
• Communicate with customers and event clients to assess their satisfaction with food, service, presentation, function arrangements and overall dining or banquet experience.
• Select, train, supervise and roster front-of-house, waiting and kitchen support staff to ensure efficient service delivery across restaurant dining, catering and function operations.
• Oversee reservations, guest arrivals, table allocations and customer order processes, and provide operational support to staff during busy restaurant service periods and scheduled banquet functions.

Qualification

• AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma (ANZSCO Skill Level 2)
• Minimum 1- 3 year experience required
