About the Role:

You'll work in a fast-paced yet friendly environment and ensuring that the store runs smoothly. Monte Ale House is a tavern and drive through bottle shop based in Slacks Creek, however we also have two retail bottle shops in Logan Central and Woodridge. You will need to be flexible to be able to work in the three locations and able to do afternoon/ evening shifts as required & weekends. Great hours for those with experience, reliability and a good work ethic.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service by helping customers select products and offering recommendations

• Process sales, including cash, EFTPOS, and credit card transactions using the POS system

• Restock shelves and maintain the store's appearance to a high standard

• Ensure the safe and responsible service of alcohol in line with Queensland's liquor licensing laws

• Check IDs to ensure customers are of legal drinking age

• Assist with store opening and closing procedures

• Assist with stock control, pricing, and product rotation

• Assist in the tavern with bar and meal service, and the drive through.

What We're Looking For:

• RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification – required

• Previous experience in bottle shop retail, stocktake, hospitality, or customer service is a bonus

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to lift and handle stock, heavy lifting required

• Attention to detail and the ability to maintain a clean, organized workspace

• A positive, proactive attitude with a commitment to delivering great service

• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as needed

• Able to do some heavy lifting

• Ability to work unsupervised
