Job Description
Join the refined elegance of Cuvée Lounge Bar and take the lead in delivering exceptional, luxury guest experiences in the heart of Brisbane. As a Supervisor, you will play a key role in guiding a passionate Food & Beverage team while embodying Sofitel’s signature Heartist culture.
Supervise and manage food and beverage staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management
Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality food and beverage service in accordance with company standards
Monitor inventory levels, manage stock rotation, and analyse costs to optimize profitability
Maintain strict adherence to health, safety, and food hygiene regulations
Handle cash transactions, process payments, and reconcile daily financial reports
Address customer concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction and loyalty
Train and mentor team members on service protocols, product knowledge, and customer engagement
Conduct regular quality checks on food presentation, beverage preparation, and service delivery
Collaborate with kitchen and food and bevearge ambassadors to coordinate operations and resolve operational challenges
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for both staff and guests
Analyse operational metrics and provide recommendations for service improvements.
Qualifications
Proven experience of 2-3 years in a food and beverage supervisory or hospitality management role
Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff
Comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage operations, service standards, and menu offerings
Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and hospitality management software
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
Sound understanding of food safety, hygiene standards, and health regulations
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Proficiency in cash handling and basic financial management
Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging situations with composure
Knowledge of beverage service standards and cocktail preparation (preferred).
