We are looking for a FOH Manager to join our team at our NEW property in Cairns. With the group undergoing significant growth and innovation, this is a rare opportunity to join our team in Cairns and then be open to relocation throughout Australia the Pacific.
$100,000 package - $70,000 per annum salary, $25,000 towards a free onsite accommodation and monthly bonuses based off KPIS valued at $5,000.
Tasks & responsibilities
Manage daily operations within each department of the hotel, including Front Office, Housekeeping and Maintenance, providing effective leadership, guidance and communication
Manage the operational performance of the hotel through meeting and exceeding set budgetary requirements.
Maintain strong working relationships with the Directors and stakeholders and ensure open lines of communication are maintained.
Manage performance of Employees, Co-ordinate recruitment, induction, training & development of staff with the ability to provide regular feedback to management.
Manage and resolve guest complaints in a timely and appropriate manner to ensure optimum guest satisfaction.
Regularly monitor and report upon the hotel’s financial performance against the operational budget to achieve annual set targets.
Ensure hotel is compliant with all company guidelines, as well as federal, state and local laws including WH&S, licensing, fire regulations and essential services.
Qualifications & Requirement's
MUST HAVE experience in Managerial position in similar role/industry
Experience using RMS will be highly regarded
Must be able to live on site and understands the commitment of being an onsite manager
Open to relocation within Australia and the Pacific Islands
Great with people and ability to build rapport easily
