Red Cacao, Stirling (Stirling SA 5152, and Mount Barker SA 5251) is now seeking to fill a critically important Cook role. We are a Stirling-based food business with a full commercial production kitchen at 21 Victoria Crescent, Mount Barker SA 5251. The production carried out in the factory is exclusively for the café.
The nominated Cook position is based primarily based at the production kitchen facility (21 Victoria Crescent, Mount Barker SA 5251), with some days required at our Stirling Café (Shop 3, 41 Mount Barker Rd, Stirling SA 5152).
This is a full-time position requiring at least 38 hours per week.

Prepare, season, and cook a variety of meals using commercial cooking equipment
Operate ovens, grills, fryers, and other professional kitchen appliances
Portion and place cooked food for delivery
Maintain food safety and hygiene standards (Food Safety Certificate preferred)
Follow recipes, portion controls, and quality specifications
Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and work areas
Work efficiently in a production-focused commercial kitchen
Assist with stock rotation and monitor stock levels
To be successfully considered, you:
Possess excellent relevant post-secondary qualifications, to at least a hospitality Certificate III/IV level.
Have at least 1 to 2 years professional experience since earning your qualifications.
Are available across the working week
Offer proven ability to prioritise, set goals and have the determination to achieve them.
Possess a through understanding of food safety OH&S and HACCP.
Understand cost control, time management, prioritisation, and cost-efficient procurement practices.
