Toby’s Estate is looking for a hands-on Kitchen Supervisor to join our small production kitchen team.

This is not a traditional restaurant cookery role. Our kitchen focuses on producing high-quality grab-and-go breakfast and lunch items in bulk for our cafés and customers.

About the Role:

• Supervising day-to-day kitchen production and workflow

• Hours are 5:30am - 1:00/1:30pm

• Preparing sandwiches, wraps, salads, baked items, and breakfast/lunch offerings

• Maintaining food quality, consistency, and presentation

• Ordering, stock rotation, and minimising waste

• Leading and supporting a small kitchen team

• Ensuring all food safety and hygiene standards are met

• Assisting with prep, packing, and general kitchen operations as needed

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in a kitchen supervisor or senior kitchen hand role

• Experience working in a production kitchen or high-volume food prep environment preferred

• Strong organisation and time management skills

• Positive attitude and ability to lead a small team

• Reliable, hands-on, and efficient

• Food Safety Supervisor Certificate is essential
