Position: Restaurant Manager

Salary: $70,000 – $85,000 per annum plus 12% Superannuation

Hours: 38 hours per week

Mode: Full Time

Location: Cnr South Terrace Street &, Pulteney St, Adelaide SA 5000

Experience required: Minimum 1 year of relevant restaurant management or hospitality supervisory experience

Fasta Pasta South Terrace is seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our busy Italian dining restaurant. Known for delivering fresh pasta, pizzas, salads, mains, and family-friendly dining experiences, Fasta Pasta operates in a fast-paced hospitality environment focused on quality food, efficient service, and excellent customer satisfaction.

The successful candidate will play a key leadership role in managing restaurant operations, maintaining high customer service standards, supervising staff, and supporting business growth while ensuring compliance with food safety and workplace regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the restaurant to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery
  • Coordinate with chefs and kitchen staff in planning menus, promotions, and seasonal offerings
  • Organise and oversee special functions, group bookings, and customer events
  • Monitor stock ordering, supplier coordination, purchasing, and pricing in line with operational budgets
  • Maintain accurate records of sales, stock levels, staff rosters, and financial transactions
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, licensing, and workplace health and safety regulations
  • Recruit, train, supervise, and support front-of-house and kitchen staff to maintain strong team performance
  • Monitor customer satisfaction, respond to feedback and complaints professionally, and maintain high service standards
  • Oversee reservations, greeting of guests, seating arrangements, and overall dining experience
  • Support daily opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and operational reporting
  • Drive customer engagement, repeat business, and overall restaurant performance through effective leadership and service excellence
  • Ensure the restaurant maintains a clean, organised, and welcoming appearance at all times

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant restaurant management or hospitality supervisory experience

Skills and Requirements

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced restaurant environment
  • Strong understanding of restaurant operations, food safety, stock control, and customer service standards
  • Excellent problem-solving and team management abilities
  • Experience managing staff rosters, budgets, and operational workflows is highly regarded
