About the Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Front Office Receptionist, to join our team and welcome guests with a warm and friendly smile. In this service driven role, you'll be the face and first point of contact for guests at RACV Noosa Resort.  You'll be on your feet, interacting with guests in a professional manner, to deliver exceptional customer service and a great experience. You'll be motivated and hardworking with the “can do attitude”, which will see you thrive in the role.

Reporting to the Front Office Manager, your key responsibilities for the role include:

Guest check in and check outs and accommodation reservations for leisure travellers and conference groups;

Process payments & maintaining records;

Answering incoming calls, general enquiries & assisting guests with their requests;

Provide information to guests about accommodation, rates and amenities;

Cross sell & upsell products & services;

Communicate & collaborate with other departments such as food & beverage, concierge, housekeeping, maintenance & spa.

This is a permanent part-time role with a minimum of 12 contracted hours per week. Additional shifts may be offered based on operational needs. Flexibility to work both AM and PM shifts will be highly regarded. Shift times include:

6:00am – 2:00pm 2:00pm – 10:00pm

What you’ll need to be successful

Experience in front office reception in 4-5 star hotel/resort environment

Experience in PMS, Opera preferred

A professional face-to-face and telephone manner, active listening, strong interpersonal and verbal & written communication skills

Excellent administration & MS Office application skills

Attention to detail, ability to problem solve, be organised and possess efficient time management skills

Be friendly, confident, self-motivated and enthusiastic with a positive attitude

Work well under pressure, in a team environment and with diverse groups of people

Excellent personal presentation
