$70,000 - $80,000 Annual

Reporting to the Head Chef, the Bistro Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day operation of the Club's busy bistro and cafe, support and supervise staff, maintain service and presentation standards, and ensure compliance with food safety, workplace health and safety and club procedures.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervising daily bistro operations and ensuring the venue is ready for service
  • Leading, training and supporting front-of-house staff
  • Maintaining high standards of customer service, cleanliness and presentation
  • Handling customer feedback and resolving issues professionally
  • Supporting stock control, staff communication and daily operational reporting
  • Ensuring compliance with food safety, liquor licensing and workplace safety requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous hospitality supervisory experience in a busy food service environment
  • Strong leadership, communication and customer service skills
  • Sound cash handling and team coordination experience
  • A professional, reliable and positive approach to work
  • Current RSA, food safety/HACCP knowledge, hospitality and first aid qualifications will be highly regarded
