• Supervise and coordinate all daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and a high standard of service, particularly during busy periods.
• Oversee all stages of food preparation, cooking, and presentation, maintaining absolute consistency in quality and flavor profiles for all dishes.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate kitchen staff, managing workflow and delegating tasks effectively to the team.
• Manage inventory, monitor stock levels, conduct accurate stocktakes, and place orders with suppliers while maintaining strict adherence to budget and minimizing wastage.
• Assist in menu development, contributing creative ideas for new dishes and specials, with a focus on seasonal ingredients and controlling food costs.
• Ensure rigorous adherence to all food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment.
• Manage the proper operation, cleaning, and maintenance of all kitchen equipment.
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
• Have a minimum of 1 years of previous experience in the industry or a similar role.
• Possess relevant trade qualifications or skills.
• Demonstrate the capacity to be a self-motivated, creative, confident, and enthusiastic professional.
• Be an excellent team player with strong communication skills.
