We are looking for a skilled and experienced Motel Manager to become part of our team. The successful candidate should have a solid background in accommodation and hospitality management, with a proven ability to oversee all aspects of motel operations, including guest services, staff supervision, reservations, property maintenance, and compliance with operational standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and a positive guest experience.

Task & responsibilities

  • Directing and overseeing reservation, reception, room service and housekeeping activities
  • Supervising security arrangements and garden and property maintenance
  • Observing liquor and other laws and regulations
  • Assessing and reviewing customer satisfaction
  • Overseeing accounting and purchasing activities
  • Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
  • May provide guests with local tourism information, and arrange tours and transportation
  • Organises and controls the operations of a motel to provide guest accommodation, meals and other services

Qualification & experience

  • Proven experience as a Motel Manager or in a similar management role within the hospitality or accommodation industry.
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and team management skills with the ability to supervise and support staff across various operational areas.
  • Sound knowledge of motel operations, guest services, reservations, customer service, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a strong focus on guest satisfaction and service excellence.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple operational responsibilities.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to handle varying occupancy levels, guest requirements, and operational demands.
  • Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Business Management, Hotel Management, or a related field
