Task & responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present high quality meals in accordance with menu standards
• Develop and contribute to seasonal menu items and daily specials
• Responsible for menu development, food cost control, staff training and inventory management
• Ensure food is prepared and served in a timely manner during busy service periods
• Monitor food quality, portion control and presentation standards
• Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
• Manage stock levels, order supplies, and minimise food wastage
• Assist with rostering, training and supervising kitchen staff when required
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
• Work collaboratively with front-of-house staff to deliver an excellent customer experience

Qualification & experience

• Certificate IV in Kitchen Management
• Minimum 3 years of relevant chef experience
•  Experience in Filipino cuisine preferred
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, kitchen operations, and food safety standards
• Ability to work efficiently in a  fast-pace environment
• Excellent organistational and time-management skills 
• Strong communiation and teamwork abilities
• Creative approach to menu development and food preparation
