Farmer’s Daughters is seeking an experienced and motivated Trade Waiter to join its hospitality team in Melbourne, VIC. This is a full-time, ongoing position offering a competitive salary and long-term career growth opportunities within a premium hospitality venue.
Located at 80 Collins Street, Melbourne, Farmer’s Daughters celebrates premium Australian produce and regional Victorian cuisine through a unique multi-level dining experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining high hospitality standards, and ensuring smooth and efficient front-of-house operations in a fast-paced environment.

Task & responsibilities
• Provide professional and attentive table service to guests
• Maintain thorough knowledge of menu items, beverages, wine pairings, and daily specials
• Ensure exceptional customer service and guest satisfaction at all times
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate service delivery
• Assist with table preparation, venue presentation, and service set-up
• Process orders and payments accurately using POS systems
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety standards
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation standards across front-of-house areas
Qualification & experience
• Minimum 3 years relevant full-time work experience as a Waiter or Trade Waiter
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospitality environment
• Strong understanding of food and beverage service standards
• Relevant hospitality qualification highly regarded
