Restaurant manager

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our busy restaurant. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, coordinating restaurant operations, maintaining stock and budgets, and ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are essential.

Task & responsibilities

Manage and control the daily operations of the restaurant to ensure smooth and efficient service 

• Plan and organize special functions and events according to customer requirements 

• Collaborate with chefs to develop and update menus to improve variety and food quality 

• Manage purchasing, pricing, and stock control within budget requirements 

• Maintain records of inventory levels, sales, and financial transactions 

• Monitor food quality and customer service standards to ensure customer satisfaction 

• Analyze sales and inventory reports to support business improvement and cost control 

• Recruit, train, supervise, and schedule front-of-house and kitchen staff 

• Handle customer enquiries, reservations, and feedback professionally 

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and food handling regulations 

• Maintain cleanliness, presentation, and overall appearance of dining facilities 

Qualification & experience

AQF associate degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma. 

Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager. (Minimum 1 Year) 

Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills. 

Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
