The Goulburn Pub Group is our family-owned hospitality group with strong community ties, operating three of Goulburn's most well-known venues: the Southern Railway, Gordon, and Empire Hotels. About the role
In this role, our ideal Chef will work across a 7-day rotating roster (lunch & dinner service).
Your duties will include but not be limited to:
- delivering high standards in food quality/presentation
- assisting with prep, service & general kitchen operations
- collaborating with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service
- following food safety and hygiene standards
- contributing to a positive & supportive team culture
- supporting your team in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
What we’re looking for
- Min. 2 years previous Chef or Cook experience
- Relevant Certificate IV in Kitchen Management, Diploma of Hospitality Management, or higher qualification highly regarded
- Strong teamwork & communication skills + ability to work under pressure
- A genuine passion for food and hospitality
- High-volume kitchen experience highly regarded
- Food Safety/Safe Food Handling certificates an advantage.
