Zero7Sixteen Holdings Pty Ltd manages premium café, catering and food retail operations across Sydney. We specialise in corporate catering, café operations, workplace food service, retail food environments and canteen operations, delivering high-quality food experiences and exceptional customer service.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Retail Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations across our food retail, café and catering environments.

Salary: $77,000 – $90,000 plus super


Task & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily retail operations across café, catering collection and canteen service environments
  • Promote and sell products to customers while driving customer engagement and sales growth 
  • Monitor sales performance, revenue targets and customer service outcomes
  • Develop and implement operational procedures to improve efficiency and customer experience
  • Monitor stock levels, ordering and supplier coordination to maintain availability and minimise waste
  • Ensure presentation, merchandising and food display standards are maintained
  • Manage customer enquiries, complaints and service recovery processes
  • Review financial performance, budgets and operational reporting
  • Maintain compliance with workplace health and safety and food safety requirements
  • Coordinate promotional initiatives and local business growth opportunities
  • Supervise, train and support staff
  • Prepare staff rosters and coordinate labour allocation to meet operational requirements

Qualification & experience

Skills & Experience

  • At least a Diploma qualification in a relevant field plus at least one year of relevant work experience, or a minimum of three years of relevant work experience
  • Experience leading teams within fast-paced retail, hospitality or food service environments
  • Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills
  • Demonstrated experience in inventory management, stock control, rostering and operational management
  • Commercial understanding of revenue, labour and cost management
  • Strong organisational, problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple operational priorities
