Cook

We are seeking an experienced, trade-qualified, and highly disciplined Cook for our kitchen.This role requires a professional capable of managing prep, cooking, and service while upholding premium quality and strict hygiene protocols.

Tasks:

• Execute kitchen operations efficiently, either solo or with a team, managing service delivery under high-volume pressure.
• Prepare, create, and cook a diverse menu that includes traditional pub fare and specified international cuisine items.
• Assist the head chef wherever possible, with rostering, ordering, and managing and teaching newcomers.
• Manage daily food preparation, stock rotation, and correct storage requirements.
• Maintain absolute cleanliness in the kitchen area, dishwashing zone, and equipment according to food safety programs.    
• Monitor stock levels, minimise wastage, and assist with inventory control when required.  

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of professional cooking experience within a commercial kitchen. 

• Solid knowledge and experience with Asian, Italian, and any other foreign cuisines.
• Certificate III (or higher) in Commercial Cookery is mandatory.
• Certified Food Safety Supervisor qualification is mandatory.
• Full availability is required, including nights, weekends, public holidays.
