Tasks and Responsibilities 

  • Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency and profitability
  • Determine product type such as fish or other seafood and cooking ingredients (oils, seasonings, vegetables, herb) to meet demand
  • Work within ownership's budget guidelines 
  • Ensure proper temperatures, packaging and locations to keep stock and prepared foods from spoiling
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints and ensure excellent service 
  • Implement marketing and promotions to improve sales 
  • Maintain finical records, including budgeting and sales tracking
  • Maintain a clean, organised and well-stocked environment 
  • Monitor sales performance and adjust pricing strategies
  • Conduct recruitment, training and supervision of staff for the fast food section, including the chef and cooks
  • Prepare and implement staff schedules 
  • Ensure compliance with Work Health and Safety
