Restaurant Manager - Wines of While

Wines of While is seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our wine bar, restaurant, and bottle shop in Perth. The successful candidate will lead front-of-house operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and work closely with the Head Chef and bar team to maintain our high standards across food, beverage, and guest experience, with a strong focus on natural wines, premium hospitality, and wine-driven guest experiences.

Task & responsibilities

• Planning, organising and supervising the daily operations of the restaurant and wine bar
• Ensuring exceptional customer service standards are consistently maintained
• Supervising, training and rostering front-of-house staff
• Managing reservations, functions and customer enquiries
• Ensure compliance with food safety, RSA and licensing requirements 
• Assisting with the promotion and development of the venue’s food and beverage offerings 
• Maintaining operational budgets, cash handling and cost procedures
• Monitoring purchasing, stock control and supplier relationships, including wine inventory management 
• Contributing to and strengthening the reputation of the business as a leading natural wine destination in Western Australia through exceptional wine knowledge and service standards

Qualification & experience

• Diploma in Hospitality Management (or equivalent qualification) preferred or minimum 3 years of experience in the industry 
• Strong understanding of contemporary dining, wine service and customer experience standards 
• Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills
• Knowledge of premium food and beverage service standards
• Ability to lead and motivate staff while maintaining high customer service standards
• Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate required
• The successful candidate will have a genuine passion and strong understanding of natural wine culture and service
