Cafe Manager

Trotters Cafe in Joondalup is seeking an experienced and motivated Cafe Manager to lead our growing team. This role is responsible for overseeing daily cafe and kitchen operations, delivering excellent customer service, managing staff performance, stock control, supplier relationships, and maintaining high food and service standards. The successful candidate will be hands-on, organised, and passionate about hospitality, teamwork, and business growth.

Task & responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day cafe operations
• Oversee both front-of-house and kitchen operations
• Lead, train and supervise cafe staff
• Deliver excellent customer service
• Manage staff rosters and team performance
• Coordinate with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
• Monitor food quality, presentation and consistency
• Handle customer feedback professionally
• Maintain cafe cleanliness and presentation standards
• Manage stock control and inventory
• Order supplies and deal with suppliers/vendors
• Monitor food and labour costs
• Ensure compliance with food safety and workplace regulations
• Support cafe marketing and social media presence
• Help drive cafe growth and profitability

Qualification & experience

1 year full time or equal experience in the cafe as a Manager.
