Task & responsibilities

• Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in line with established recipes and standards.
• Monitor food quality, freshness, and presentation to ensure consistency and customer satisfaction.
• Operate and regulate kitchen equipment including ovens, grills, and fryers safely and efficiently.
• Portion, plate, and garnish meals appropriately while maintaining presentation standards.
• Store food items correctly in temperature-controlled environments and follow food safety practices.
• Assist with menu planning, stock control, and training of junior kitchen staff where required.

Qualification & experience

•  Relevant qualification in this sector will be preferable with at least 1 year’s experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
•  Sound understanding of food safety requirements and best practices
•  Excellent communication skill
•  Available to work a rotating roster, including weekends and evenings
• Experienced in a fast paced kitchen
