Chef Jon Pizzeria & Bistro is looking for a passionate and experienced Bistro Chef to join our team. We’re a fast growing, quality driven venue focused on authentic Italian flavours, wood-fired pizzas, and bistro-style dishes made with premium local and imported ingredients.

Task & responsibilities

• Prepare and cook Italian bistro dishes to a high standard
• Manage section during service and ensure smooth kitchen flow
• Maintain consistency in food quality, presentation, and portioning
• Follow and enforce food safety and hygiene standards
• Assist with stock control, ordering, and minimising waste
• Support menu development and daily specials
• Train and work closely with junior kitchen staff
• Keep the kitchen clean, organised, and service-ready

Qualification & experience

• Must hold Diploma EQF Level 4 in hospitality. 
• Must have min 2 years full time experience in Italian cuisine in a professional kitchen. Also, must have HACCP certificate.
