The beautiful Bridgewater Inn in the Adelaide Hills (387 Mount Barker Rd, Bridgewater SA 5155), just a short drive up the freeway, is seeking an experienced, passionate Chef to join our diverse and dynamic kitchen team. We are a busy pub venue with Adelaide's best beer garden, bars, TAB, bistro and gaming. As a venue we are going from strength to strength with exciting plans ahead. We are seeking a strong, experienced chef with experience in a similar role or ready to take the next step in their career. Must be hardworking, honest, motivated and reliable with a passion for food and the industry.

• Ability to maintain consistent, high quality food standards
• Performing cooking duties in a busy fast paced environment
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and cleaning rosters
• Maintain a positive staff morale and focus
• Ensure kitchen equipment is correctly maintained and in good working order
• Liaise with FOH staff regarding any food preparation, allergy or menu issues
• Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are are met or exceeded by all staff members
• Assist in organizing orders and managing food costs.
• Collaborate closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Qualification in Commercial Cookery/Hospitality at least Certificate IV or Diploma level and 1-2 years relevant full time work experience in a similar position
Strong understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
Understanding of best practices in food and handling requirements.
Have the flexibility to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends & public holidays
Exceptional time management, organisation, and prioritisation skills
