Task & responsibilities

• Preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes
• Maintaining food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards
• Managing kitchen operations during assigned shifts
• Assisting with menu planning and stock control
• Supervising kitchen staff when required
•  Performing other reasonable duties as directed by management.

Qualification & experience

• Strong cooking and food preparation skills
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards
• Ability to manage kitchen operations efficiently
• Experience in supervising and leading kitchen staff
• Good time management and ability to work under pressure
• Basic stock management and cost control skills
• Menu planning and recipe development skills
• Ability to maintain consistent food quality
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Problem-solving skills in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery / Certificate IV in Kitchen Management (minimum)
