We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef to lead the kitchen in our Indian and Nepali fine dining restaurant and bar. The ideal candidate must have in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in authentic Indian and Nepali cuisine, along with strong proficiency in Indo-Chinese dishes.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and present high-quality Indian, Nepali, and Indo-Chinese dishes.
Develop and update menus reflecting traditional flavours with modern presentation.
Oversee kitchen operations, maintaining budget, ensuring consistency, hygiene, and quality control.
Manage food inventory, ordering, and cost control.
Train and supervise kitchen staff as needed.
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of experience, Indian/Nepali cuisine experience preferred.
Knowledge of Indo-Chinese cuisine (e.g., chili chicken, hakka noodles, Soups, Manchurian etc.).
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
Good communication and team leadership skills.
Relevant culinary qualifications preferred.
76600 annual Salary + Superannuation

Perform food prep and equipment upkeep
Formal Qualification preferred, not mandatory

Australian citizens and permanent residents will be prioritised
