We are looking for a kind and caring Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to join our close-knit team.  In this role, you will work closely with our on-site registered and enrolled nurses.  You will help ensure our residents enjoy a high quality of life in a comfortable, family-like environment.

Your Daily Tasks (include but are not limited to)

  • Assisting our residents with personal care such as showering, toileting and dressing
  • Assisting our residents with mobility and communication
  • Assisting our residents with meals
  • Adhere to resident's individual care and theapy plans, including interventions when assisting our residents with dementia and behavioural problems
  • Observe our residents and report any changes you notice in their condition to senior nursing staff
  • Monitor complaints and report to management to implement improvement where necessary
  • Build friendly bonds with residents and support their emotional well-being
  • Work alongside our 24-hour nursing team and visiting health specialists

What We Look For

  • A Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, or similar training
  • Experience in residential aged care is highly valued
  • A current Police Clearance Certificate
  • A patient, compassionate nature with strong communication skills
  • A positive attitude toward health and wellbeing
  • The ability to work as part of a tight knit team
  • The flexibility to work over a varied 24/7 roster

  • 24-hour support with Registered nurses on-site 7 days per week
  • We provide assistance with daily tasks, cleaning, laundry and personal grooming
  • We have an onsite kitchen staffed with qualified Chefs
  • Doctors and other health specialists visit regularly to check on our residents and provide care services
  • We have been operating under te same ownership for over 40 years
