We are looking for a kind Nursing Support Worker to join our local residential aged care family.  In this role, you will help our residents live comfortable lives.  You will work under the guidance of our nurse leaders to provide day-to-day care in a relaxed, friendly environment.

Your Daily Duties (include but are not limited to)

  • Assisting our residents with eating
  • Assisting our residents with mobility and communication
  • Assist with planning the care of our residents
  • Adhere to therapy plans including interventions when assisting our residents with dementia and behavioural problems
  • Observe our residents and report changes in their condition to senior Nursing staff
  • Monitor complaints and report to management to implement improvement where required
  • Assist nursing staff with rehabilitation exercises and programs and administering medication
  • Provide support to visiting allied health and other medical staff under their guidance

What We Need From You

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role is preferred
  • A Certificate IIII in Individula Support or similar training
  • A current Police Clearance Certificate
