Webster Packer / Dispensary Assistant | Part-Time (School Hours) or Full-Time Opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in the dispensary preparing Webster medication packs and supporting the pharmacy team to ensure patients receive their medicines safely and accurately.

Flexible work options

• Part-time: 3–4 days per week (approx. 9:00am – 3:00pm, ideal school hours), or;
• Full-time: Available for candidates who are also happy to assist in the front-of-shop retail area

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and pack Webster medication packs accurately and efficiently
• Assist the dispensary team with medication preparation and pharmacy support tasks
• Ensure Webster packs are correctly packed, labelled and organised
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail when handling medicines
• Keep the dispensary clean, organised and compliant
• Assist with front of shop duties if working in the full-time role

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organisation and time management
• Ability to follow procedures and work carefully with medications
• S2/S3 Certificate highly regarded
• Previous pharmacy or healthcare experience advantageous but not essential
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Friendly, reliable and professional attitude

Pharmacy Assistant – Front of Shop | Part-Time | Expression of Interest

We are also inviting expressions of interest for Part-Time Pharmacy Assistants to join our retail team and help provide outstanding service to our customers.

Availability: Must be available to work Saturdays and 2 days during the week.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and professional customer service
• Assist customers with over-the-counter products and enquiries
• Assist with stock management, including putting stock away and maintaining shelves
• Complete ticketing, merchandising and store presentation
• Support the team to ensure smooth day-to-day store operations
• Maintain a clean and welcoming retail environment

Skills & Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking
• Positive attitude and ability to work as a team player
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
• Interest in health, pharmacy or customer care

Douglas Chemists is one of Australia’s oldest pharmacy networks, operating pharmacies under the brands of Priceline Pharmacy, Discount Drug Stores, Good Price Pharmacy Warehouse and Soul Pattinson Chemists. Established in 1972 by John Douglas when he opened his first pharmacy (John Douglas Chemist) in Goulburn NSW, which he still owns to this day now trading as Priceline Pharmacy Goulburn. The business has grown to a dynamic partner lead model with pharmacies across QLD, NSW, and the ACT, many in rural communities. John still works in the various pharmacies, he is a hands-on person who is passionate about developing people particularly pharmacists and creating career pathways. John is committed to each of our pharmacies and visits each of them regularly to spend time with the teams, the customers and the community.
