Mindright Clinical Psychologists is an established private practice in the heart of Bondi Junction, operating since 2007. We're a collegial group of predominantly Clinical Psychologists with a stable, long-tenured team and a strong, steady referral base. We're now opening room for one more clinician to build a sustainable practice within ours.

We have consulting room availability across Monday, Thursday and Saturday (full days), plus Tuesday mornings — and plenty of evening availability across the week. You don't need to take all of it; we're happy to shape the arrangement around the days, evenings and caseload that suit you.

We'd particularly love to hear from someone who can offer Saturday and/or after-hours appointments, as these meet a genuine gap in client demand — though this is a preference, not a requirement.

A background or special interest in eating disorders would be highly valued, but we welcome strong applicants across the breadth of clinical practice. We're also interested in clinicians who'd like to develop and run group programs — clinically powerful work that offers a strong earning model alongside individual sessions, which we'll support you to build.

About you

Qualifications & registration

  • Registered with AHPRA as a Clinical Psychologist, or a Clinical Psychology Registrar working towards endorsement

  • Current professional indemnity insurance, AHPRA registration, and (for Registrars) an approved Board-recognised supervision plan

  • Running, or ready to run, your own practice as an independent contractor

Clinical & treatment skills

  • Grounded in evidence-based, gold-standard assessment and formulation, with the ability to translate it into clear, individualised treatment

  • Competent across core therapeutic modalities (e.g. CBT, ACT, schema, DBT-informed approaches) and able to match the model to the client rather than the other way around

  • Skilled in structured outcome measurement and using data to guide and review treatment

  • A genuine interest in eating disorders is highly valued; familiarity with evidence-based frameworks (e.g. CBT-E, FBT) is a strong advantage, though not essential

  • Open to developing and co-facilitating group programs, or willing to build these skills with our support

Caseload & client mix

  • Comfortable working with a varied adult (and where relevant, adolescent) caseload across mood, anxiety, trauma, and related presentations

  • Able to manage clinical risk competently and know when and how to seek consultation or refer on

  • Committed to maintaining a sustainable, high-quality caseload rather than maximising volume — we'd rather you do excellent work than overload

  • Collaborative and willing to engage with the broader treating team (GPs, psychiatrists, dietitians) where coordinated care benefits the client
