About the Role

Botanica Wellness Pharmacy is an exciting new private dispensary opening in Sydney, focused on medicinal cannabis, alternative therapies, and personalised patient care. We are building a modern healthcare destination that provides patients with access to innovative treatment options in a professional, supportive, and compassionate environment.

As we launch our new pharmacy, we are seeking motivated and customer-focused Pharmacy Assistants to join our foundation team. This is a unique opportunity to be involved from the very beginning, helping shape the culture, patient experience, and future direction of a rapidly growing business.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for friendly, professional, and enthusiastic Pharmacy Assistants who are passionate about healthcare and delivering exceptional customer service. Experience in community pharmacy is highly regarded, however candidates with strong retail healthcare experience and a willingness to learn will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service and create a welcoming patient experience

• Assist patients with product enquiries and general wellness support

• Process sales and operate point-of-sale systems accurately and efficiently

• Maintain stock levels, merchandising, and dispensary presentation

• Assist with inventory management and stock control procedures

• Support pharmacists with day-to-day pharmacy operations

• Maintain patient confidentiality and professionalism at all times

• Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and patient-focused team culture

• Support educational initiatives and patient engagement programs

You Will Have

• Previous experience in a community pharmacy or healthcare retail environment (preferred)

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities

• A professional, empathetic, and patient-centred approach

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

• A willingness to learn about medicinal cannabis and alternative healthcare therapies

• Strong computer literacy and confidence using pharmacy software systems

• Australian work rights
