Kids at the Cliffe is searching for creative and motivated educators to join our team; be prepared to feel loved, special and important in the lives of many young children and families.

About our Role:

As an Educator at our Service you will:

  • Implement fun activities to inspire young minds

  • Create a nurturing environment with a variety of engaging experiences

  • Build caring relationships with children and families;

  • Assist with the development of the play based learning program;

  • Actively supervise children to ensure their safety and wellbeing at all times;

  • Promote a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment;

  • Complete other daily tasks such as general cleaning duties, food service and recording your observations and reflections.

Successful candidates will need to be available a minimum of 3 afternoons and 2 mornings and:

  • Have a Diploma or Bachelor's degree or currently studying in one of the following areas - Education, Arts, Sports & Rec, Social Studies, Nursing or Youth Studies

  • Previous childcare experience desired

  • Previous experience in a leadership role loved

  • Current Paid Blue Card or be willing to obtain one immediately.

  • First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma qualifications relevant to Education and Care settings, or be willing to undertake appropriate training

  • National Child Protection Training certification or willingness to obtain

  • Current Police Check (National Police Certificate) or ability to obtain

  • Be reliable, well organised, self-motivated, FUN and engaging with the children!
