Join Our Team as an Occupational Therapist – Make a Difference in Community Health
Bring your clinical expertise to a role where you can make a real impact on the health and wellbeing of the local community. This position offers the opportunity to apply and expand your occupational therapy skills, work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, and contribute to high-quality, client-focused services.
About the Role:
This rural generalist Occupational Therapist position has a strong paediatric focus and is ideally suited to someone who is passionate about working with children and has experience delivering paediatric occupational therapy services. You will apply your clinical experience, increasingly generalist and/or specialist knowledge, and professional competence to plan, implement and evaluate a comprehensive and integrated range of services tailored to the needs of the local community.
Working under reduced clinical direction, you will contribute to the delivery of preventative, early intervention, treatment/therapy and evaluation approaches. You may also support the clinical supervision and development of less experienced allied health professionals, allied health assistants and students.
As a member of a multi-professional team, you will work collaboratively with other health professionals and service providers across sectors to support positive functional outcomes, participation and wellbeing for children and their families.
This position is offered as an ongoing role; however, contract arrangements can be considered for the successful applicant if an ongoing appointment is not preferred.
