Do you naturally step into leadership when things get busy?

Do you enjoy supporting a team while still being hands-on and involved in the day-to-day operations of a business?

Can you remain calm under pressure, solve problems quickly and maintain exceptional customer service standards, even on your busiest days?

Do you take pride in presenting professionally, leading by example and setting a high standard in everything you do?

If so, we'd love to hear from you.

Perth Healthcare Centre is a busy and growing multidisciplinary healthcare clinic operating across East Perth and West Perth. We are home to chiropractors, physiotherapists, massage therapists, psychologists, podiatrists and other allied health professionals, with more than 2,500 patient appointments attended each month.

We are seeking an experienced medical receptionist to support the day-to-day operations of our clinics while working alongside our administration team.

This is not a passive administration role.

We are looking for someone who is comfortable taking ownership, making decisions, solving problems and supporting a busy clinical team in a fast-paced environment.

Working closely with the General Manager, you will play an important role in maintaining high standards across the business while supporting practitioners, patients and fellow administration staff.

About You

You are mature, reliable and highly organised.

You understand the importance of professionalism in a healthcare environment and are comfortable balancing patient care, administration, leadership responsibilities and operational tasks.

You will have:

  • Previous experience in medical or healthcare administration (essential)

  • Previous leadership, supervisory or senior administration experience (highly regarded)

  • Experience using Practice Management Software, with Cliniko experience highly desirable

  • Exceptional customer service skills and a genuine commitment to patient care

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and confidence making decisions

  • The ability to remain calm, professional and solutions-focused under pressure

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills

  • A high level of accountability and attention to detail

  • A professional and polished presentation

  • Proven reliability and consistency in attendance, performance and communication

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the day-to-day operations of both clinic locations

  • Support and lead the administration team by setting a positive example

  • Liaise with practitioners throughout the day regarding patient, scheduling and operational matters

  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients both in person and over the phone

  • Assist with training, onboarding and supporting administration staff

  • Support the implementation and maintenance of clinic systems and procedures

  • Assist with rostering, workflow management and operational projects

  • Monitor and maintain high standards across reception, administration and clinic presentation

  • Manage patient enquiries and concerns professionally and efficiently

  • Work closely with the General Manager to ensure smooth clinic operations

What We're Looking For

This role is suited to someone who enjoys responsibility and takes genuine pride in their work.

We're looking for a team member who is dependable, proactive, solutions-focused and committed to maintaining the high standards our patients and practitioners have come to expect.

You should be equally comfortable assisting a patient at reception, supporting a practitioner with an urgent issue, helping guide the administration team or managing competing priorities during a busy day.

What We Offer
  • A supportive and professional team environment

  • Exposure to a wide range of healthcare disciplines

  • Ongoing professional development opportunities

  • Staff discounts on clinic services

  • Genuine career progression opportunities for the right candidate

  • The opportunity to play a key role within a growing healthcare business

Location: East Perth & West Perth

If you're looking for a role where you can make a genuine impact, support a fantastic team and continue growing your leadership skills, we'd love to hear from you.
