About the role

We are seeking a motivated and positive individuals to join our reception team, who is self-motivated, customer focused and possesses well-developed communication skills to join our reception team at Garran Medical Imaging. This varied role includes a wide range of administrative and patient-facing responsibilities to ensure an efficient and patient-centered Medical Imaging service. The Medical Imaging Receptionist will undertake a range of examination scheduling, patient and healthcare professional queries and general administrative tasks. The role includes participation in a rotating roster including after-hours and occasional weekend duties across multiple sites based in Canberra.

About you 

To be successful in this role you will possess:

• Excellent customer service skills in a fast paced work environment

• Well-developed communication skills both face to face and over the phone

• High attention to detail

• Previous experience within the healthcare industry (desirable)

• Experience/knowledge in Medical Imaging (desirable)

• Experience working with a Radiology Information System (RIS) (desirable)

• Ability to work autonomously as well as within a diverse team

• Flexibility and adaptability to manage pressure within a changing work environment

• Sound organisational and prioritisation skills

• Highly proficient and accurate data entry skills

• General computer literacy and knowledge

• Ability to follow instruction and problem solve

Remuneration and hours of work are negotiable and will reflect your skills and experience. Garran Medical Imaging will take a modern view of remuneration with working flexibility and offers leave loading of 17.5%.
