An Administrator is responsible for the administrative activities within a clinicians practice which is associated with Queensland Fertility Group Patient.

An Administrator is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing front desk operations, handling patient administration and ensuring efficient day-to-today practice management, whilst remaining non-judgmental and always maintaining strict patient confidentiality.

The role of an Administrator supports clinicians, nurses, and other staff by maintaining accurate medical records, scheduling appointments, and facilitating communication between patients and healthcare providers.

An Administrator will commit to a strong team working environment (where applicable) and all staff are encouraged to exercise initiative, support strong functional relationships and open communication.

Role Responsibilities

  • Provide support and assistance for patients

  • Answer high volume of incoming calls in a professional and courteous manner

  • Coordinate patient bookings and appointments

  • Update and manage patient information database

  • Conduct individualised patient quotations and billing

Skills and Experience

  • Previous customer service preferably in a medical setting

  • Impeccable communication skills (verbal and written) and a courteous phone manner

  • Office administration and/or accounts receivable

  • Sound working knowledge of database systems

  • Understanding of patient confidentiality

  • The ability to build rapport with patients

  • Empathetic and supportive nature

  • Knowledge of IVF services (desirable but not essential)
