Your role

As a Regional Manager with One Doorway, you will provide leadership and direction to a team of Team Leaders/Keyworkers working in collaboration with the business to maintain a culture of performance and quality in all aspects of service delivery.

Task & responsibilities

Who you work with 

Our people leaders, our employees, and your colleagues in the Operations Department • Government & community organisations, health professionals, family, friends, and carers What we are looking for • A Tertiary qualification directly related to community services or disability is required, along with evidenced and demonstrated experience in the delivery of community service and/or NDIS service provision • Commitment to the rights of people with disabilities to live dignified lives • Able to accept responsibility and work as part of a team • Patient, flexible, understanding, supportive and caring nature • Strong computer, written and verbal communication skills • Experience working within the disability or health care sectors

The tasks include:

Evaluating clients' needs and designing, developing, and implementing educational, training, and support programs. Conducting interviews with clients to assess the nature and severity of their challenges. Monitoring and documenting clients' progress. Referring clients to organizations that can offer additional support. Analyzing community needs and available resources related to health, welfare, housing, employment, training, and other essential services. Collaborating with community groups, welfare agencies, government organizations, and private businesses on community matters, while raising awareness about local resources and services. Providing assistance to families and offering education and care for children and individuals with disabilities in adult service units, group housing, and government facilities. Overseeing offenders under probation and parole supervision. Supporting young people in addressing social, emotional, and financial challenges. Preparing funding requests, resource applications, and reports for government agencies and other organizations.


Qualification & experience

A Tertiary qualification directly related to community services or disability is required, along with evidenced and demonstrated experience in the delivery of community service and/or NDIS service provision

• Commitment to the rights of people with disabilities to live dignified lives

• Able to accept responsibility and work as part of a team • Patient, flexible, understanding, supportive and caring nature

• Strong computer, written and verbal communication skills

• Experience working within the disability or health care sectors

• Valid driver's license
