Nurseryperson

Plant Force Investments Pty Ltd trading as Plantrite, located in Bullsbrook WA is recruiting full-time Nurserypersons for skilled operational roles performing the core production activities of a wholesale plant nursery. You carry out propagation, growing media preparation, planting, plant maintenance, irrigation, pest and disease control, grading, and dispatch preparation.

This role requires demonstrated nursery or horticultural skills and the ability to work independently across multiple production tasks. You work under the direction of the Nursery Manager or Nursery Supervisor, and alongside other team members.

Responsibilities include:

• Propagation and Planting
• Plant Maintenance and Growing Operations
• Grading Selection and Dispatch
• Safety, Hygiene and Compliance
• Record-Keeping

Essential Skills required:

• Demonstrated skills across core nursery production tasks including propagation, planting, plant maintenance, and pest/disease management.
• Knowledge of plant species, growing requirements, and environmental factors affecting plant health.
• Practical propagation skills including seed selection, cutting preparation
• Ability to operate and monitor irrigation systems (manual and automated).
• Ability to identify common pests, diseases, and nutritional disorders in nursery plants.
• Accuracy in record-keeping and attention to detail in production tasks.
• Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and work cooperatively as part of a team.
• Physically fit to work outdoors in varied conditions.
• Certificate III in Horticulture (Production Nursery) plus 2 years of experience, or a relevant Certificate IV (Nursery Operations) plus 1 year of experience, OR 3 years relevant nursery or horticultural experience.

Salary range from $75,000 - $80,000 per annum plus superannuation.
