Nursery Supervisor

Plant Force Investments Pty Ltd trading as Plantrite , located in Bullsbrook WA is recruiting full-time Nursery Supervisors to supervise and coordinate the daily operations of nursery production teams, ensuring plants are propagated, cultivated, and maintained to Plantrite’s quality standards. The Nursery Supervisor combines hands-on nursery expertise with team leadership to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality nursery output.

Responsibilities include:

• Nursery Production and Plant Cultivation
• Team Supervision and Coordination
• Quality Assurance and Plant Health
• Safety, Hygiene and Compliance
• Administration and Record-Keeping

Essential Skills required:

• Demonstrated nursery or horticultural experience across the full range of production tasks including propagation, growing media preparation, plant maintenance, pest and disease management, and irrigation.
• Proven ability to supervise, coordinate, and develop a production team.
• Strong practical skills in propagation techniques including budding, grafting, and seed/cutting selection.
• Knowledge of plant species, growing requirements, pest and disease identification, and treatment methods.
• Effective verbal communication — able to instruct, give feedback, and run a toolbox talk.
• Ability to keep accurate production and treatment records.
• Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain within 3 months of appointment).
• Certificate III in Horticulture (Production Nursery) plus 2 years, or a relevant Certificate IV (Nursery Operations) plus 1 year experience, or 3 years relevant nursery or horticultural work experience.

Salary range from $75,000 - $80,000 per annum plus superannuation.
